Our customers drawings illustrated parts for his new bespoke Race Car. We were excited at the prospect of Mac Machining’s components being used within the front and rear axle of a replica Race Car. Our team of highly qualified engineers helped and advised our new customer with ways in which he could reduce his costings. We recommended new shape ideas and machining techniques to help make each component more cost effective. We also suggested different materials, not only cutting costs, but also to help reduce the overall assembled weight.
Our customer was delighted at the amount of support he received from our skilled engineers and soon got to work with redesigning and modifying his drawings. We soon got the new drawings into production. Not only were we machining these parts, we had also arranged for the EN24T components to be chemi blacked and aluminium components to be anodised, giving the parts a professional and sleek black look as well as the practicality of reduced rusting.
Our components that formed parts of the axles progressed into full production of the single seater sports car, which is primarily used for the UK Monoposto Championships, but suitable for many of the worlds F1000 Championships too. Our customer was so thrilled with the outcome, he not only recommended us to fellow race car manufacturers, he used us a second time for his new car.
